The Eye Ring is a Hybrid Shape that was created in 2022 by Lars aka Sh8peshiftr. 

A prototype was made with the help of RDBuugeng.

Maintaining the balance of the 8 ring, with the eye shape it adds a new level to the illusions you can create! Now by performing an isolation the same way you would with the 8 Ring, you can also isolate the curve of the eye!

Inspired by a sketch of an oval that cuts through 2 circles together, I saw this figure and was inspired to hold a pair of closed circles over an 8 ring to replicate the shape. I truly loved the resulting figure, noticing it would add so much depth to the complexity of movements compare to a regular 8 ring. Thus the Eye Ring was born!
