The 8 ring is an innovative prop comprised of two connected circles that form a figure 8. The balance of the two circles allows users to create optical illusions through various manipulation techniques. This simple, yet carefully designed object is suitable for practice and learning, as well as for the stage. If you're a beginner looking to get started with Shape Manipulation, 8 rings are the perfect choice. They are the standard by which hybrid shapes are measured. Hybrid Shapes take inspiration from 8 rings and replace the circles in their design with other shapes, allowing for an incredible variety of possibilities.
